Use

Felt is used in many industries. Felts find their application in hats, berets, shoes, various polishing wheels, gaskets, washers, carpet and acoustic insulation, as well as veneer hammer keyboards for pianos. As far as sealing process is concerned, the felt is used for making pads and gaskets which serve as shock or vibration isolating fillings. Molded felt, on the other hand, which is saturated with lubricants serve as elements for greases and oils
